| Volunteers who normally
number over 500 gather at Schoolhouse Park at 8 AM for a
fellowship and a continental breakfast, complement of local
eateries. |

Each Volunteer is
given a commemorative T-shirt. |

Nobody is too young... |

Or too old... |
|
Volunteers are then given gloves, water, and trash bags and are
assigned to a small stretch of the river to clean up. |
|
|
|

When they return to
Schoolhouse Park a couple of hours later, they are greeted by a
live band and a sumptuous lunch. |
|
|
|
Finally, after lunch,
literally hundreds of valuable door prizes donated by local
merchants are given out by a drawing of sign-up tickets. |
